The Best of Spring Summer 2015 Beauty Trends

Spring and Summer are just around the corner and for you gurls, who do not want to be bothered to put a heavy makeup. These spring/summer 2015 beauty trends will definitely be your BFF. From red vs pink lipstick, fine eyeliner, au-naturale eyebrows, and the famous barely-there makeup. So, what are you waiting for?

1. 'No makeup', makeup look.

Now, I'd say those are the perfect examples of  'no makeup' makeup look. It consists of minimal foundation, concealer and contouring which will create a flawless and natural looking face.  No overdrawn eyebrows or long fake lashes. And look at that dewy and glowing skin which i suppose is inspired by the Korean beauty, they are gorgeoussss. Go, Korean Beauty!

Achieve this look:

Face: prepping the skin with moisturiser, put a lil bit of concealer under your eye, then dab some BB or CC cream, i suggest you choose the Korean brand such as Iope Air Cushion XP (best air cushion ever!) or Laneige Air Cushion, because these products give you an instant glow without using any highlighter. But if you are using any other face base, like a matte foundation, you gotta use a lil bit of highlighter on your cheek,tip of your nose, above the eyebrows and your cupid bow. 

Don't forget to slightly contour your cheekbone and put pink rosy blush on before highlighting the face. 

Eyes: Skip the eyeliner on your eyelid, focus just using the eyeliner on your tightline, which is the skin between your upper lashes and under the upper lashes. And if you have a short lashes, curl your lashes but not too much and put a tiny bit of mascara, same goes with the long lashes but skip the eyelash curler. 

Eyebrows: Groom your eyebrow using the eyebrow comb. If you have a thin or sparse eyebrow you can fill it in with eyebrow pencil, and do not over do it. 

Lips: If you already have a natural looking pink lip, then bless you. But, for you who doesn't, lipstick or lip balm will be your must have item. We want to avoid those glossy lip and just focus on matte lip. Try using a lip balm first before putting a matte lipstick. After putting on your lip balm, let the moisture sinks in for a couple of minutes then gently wipe it out with tissue then choose your nude or soft pink matte lipstick , put it slowly on your under lip and using your clean ring finger, dab some of the lipstick around the upper lip and smack your lip.  That's it, you're ready to go!

2. Red Lip Comeback

Welcome back old friend, after vacuum for one season, finally you make your comeback. There are a lot of bold red color lippies with variety of colours popping up at designer's fashion shows for this season such as D&G, Zac Posen, Topshop and Burberry Prorsum. So, don't be afraid to put your favourite red lip, either it is blood red or deep plum red or just a stained of red colour. You can also match it with your 'no makeup' skin look and still steal the show.

3. Think Pink

Girls, if you are not a red lip kind of type, you can try this pink trend instead. Start off with glowing face base, then soft pink lip and flush blush on like the left photo, add a natural looking fake lashes and tight line your eye, fill in your brows. I'm sure you will be looking so girly, feminine and innocent with this look. This pink is not only limited to soft pink, but this season, every variety of pink such as fuchsia, purple, candy pink, and pale pink will be on the hunt!

4. Black Line

Black eyeliner can never ever go wrong with any kind of style. Either you put it on eyelid or bottom of the eye or both. This season, black eyeliner appeared on a lot of fashion shows, and many of them use it to create a graphic look effect like those photos above. So girls, you can try to create your eyeliner like that instead of the mainstream cat eye look. #justsayin

5. Bronzed

Bronze, sun kissed look, like the photos above also will be in the spotlight for summer 2015. Well, it's summer and you gotta get a nice tan, right? But, for those who can't get a gorgeous tan, don't worry you can have it by putting a bronzer or contour cream on your cheekbones, side of your forehead and jaw. Then don't forget to blend everything out and put some highlighter on your cheek to get that bronze glow effect!

Just follow these trends and you are gonna have a perfect looking makeup to compliment your outfit for spring/summer 2015!

Just an idea and quick update on my life..

1 month. 

That's right, 1 month ago i promised to myself to write something about beauty or makeup review, and it turned out that i didn't keep my promise, because my camera was broken so i couldn't take any photos of my makeup products.
However, just now i just got an idea why don't i write about anything related to beauty that does not require a camera like umm.. 'Beauty trends for spring/summer 2015' or an article about 'Best or worst makeup / hair in Coachella 2015' or 'Makeup product for your future investment'.
Okay, the last one sounds cool enough for me and WHY DIDNT I THINK ABOUT THIS BEFORE?! Well, maybe it's because I'm lazy and the slow internet connection in my hometown. Hahaha, what a crappy excuse-_-.
Now, you and i both got the idea and let's start to write tomorrow! YES, TOMORROW :p

Let's moving to my boring daily life.. So, it has been 2 weeks i lived in Jakarta, the first week was cool, i was kinda busy with my 5 Days Professional Makeup Class, which i think is not really enough for me to learn other makeup techniques but yeah i did get some awesome techniques tho. And, now i'm planning to get another makeup class with a longer time.

Moving on the second week, OH MY GOD it's so damn boh-ring, because i just live together with my sister and i still haven't gotten a job and she works in the morning till late afternoon, my friends all are busy with their school and that makes me a lonely girl who did nothing except eat,sleep,watch,repeat. My eye bag is getting darker because i sleep around 2-3am and even tho i wake up around 12pm, the eye bag is still there. Does anyone know why?
I really can't bear it, i need something to keep me busy and productive, so i can control my sleep cycle. I guess that's all for today. It's late now, I'm sleepy and see ya tomorrow.

Bored by doing nothing

Well, Hello world.. 

First, Happy New Year 2015!

I know, it has been 8 freaking months after my last post. I dunno why, but i am just so lazy to write and take pictures of my beauty products... It's just that, there were always something that make me want to keep delay and delay my desire for writing and give review about beauty products. ugh.

But, in the last 5 months i have lost 10 kgs through strict diet and crazy workout and now i kinda have what i want and wished for the past 4 years, which was to be skinnier haha. So, i nailed it!

Anyway, last month i tried to apply for a job and i've gone for 2 interviews. One company is a new startup beauty e-commerce and another one is an online beauty&fashion magazine company. One of them actually accepted me to work there, but unfortunately i have to turned it down because the salary is a lil bit low. so yeah.. and another company is just ugh, just go to hell! 

So.. now I'm still in my hometown, searching, applying and hoping for some companies to reply my emails and ask me for interviews and job.
Oh yeah, since last week i started my own small business here, well it's better than doing nothing, right? And i hope this business will last long. AMEN!

Back to blogging about beauty, i think i'm gonna start blogging next week (new year resolution, Ha ha), since I'm a bit preoccupied for my small business :p. So God, by next week please take all my laziness and turn me into someone who is more diligent and confident for my work and my desires.

I also planning to continue my study in Beijing this year and I hope everything is going to work out well for me this year. Please God, please grant all my wishes!

HELLO,WORLD!

So, first of all, i would like to welcome you to bitchinboutbeauty.com , my one and only blog, which finally i created after many months approached by laziness coupled with hectic days from doing shitload of schoolworks, which made me finally graduated from 3(almost)years in Raffles College, Singapore with Bachelor Degree in Design with major in Fashion Marketing. 

After i graduated, i took a short holiday for 2-3 weeks, which i spent in Seoul and Jakarta. And now, here i am in my hometown, Pangkalpinang, funemployed and doing nothing but eating,watching,doing some workouts, and sleeping and BLOGGING.

So, let me introduce myself. My name is Michelle Vanessa Bong, just call me Michelle or Bong :). I'm 19 y.o and live in Indonesia. I'm a newbie in blogger, im still figuring out how to write a good reviews and how to operate blogger.com. So, i hope u guys will understand and help me in the future.
